Abstract

Artikel ini membahas kontribusi pemikiran Ibnu Tufail terhadap pengembangan pendidikan holistik di era kontemporer, dengan fokus pada integrasi antara aspek pengetahuan, moral, dan sosial sebagai landasan pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan dan menganalisis literatur terkait krisis nilai dalam pendidikan, peran kearifan lokal, serta tantangan akibat perkembangan teknologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gagasan Ibnu Tufail, terutama terkait pembelajaran melalui eksplorasi diri dan pengalaman langsung, relevan sebagai solusi untuk membentuk individu yang berintegritas dan empatik. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi filsafat pendidikan Ibnu Tufail sebagai acuan dalam perancangan kurikulum yang tidak hanya akademis, tetapi juga berorientasi pada pengembangan karakter dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang komprehensif.
