: This article aims to reconstruct the epistemological model of Islamic Studies within the framework of contemporary scientific research through a conceptual-analytical approach. Islamic Studies is understood as a field that has undergone a significant transformation from a normative-doctrinal paradigm toward an integrative approach that combines normative, historical, and empirical dimensions. This study employs a qualitative library-based method by integrating conceptual analysis and genealogical inquiry to trace the development of Islamic Studies and examine the internal coherence of its key concepts. The data sources include works of prominent contemporary Islamic scholars such as Amin Abdullah and Fazlur Rahman, as well as relevant recent academic literature. The findings reveal that Islamic Studies should not be confined to normative religious inquiry but can function as an analytical framework for understanding socio-religious dynamics. The integration of revelation, reason, and social reality constitutes a fundamental basis for developing a dialogical and multidisciplinary epistemological model. Furthermore, this article operationalizes philosophical and anthropological approaches as analytical tools to examine the relationship between text, context, and religious practice in society. Thus, the application of scientific methods in Islamic Studies expands its intellectual horizon, making it more critical, reflective, and relevant to contemporary challenges. This study contributes to strengthening the conceptual-analytical foundation of Islamic Studies and opens avenues for future empirical research within an integrative epistemological framework.
