Pendidikan Islam Pesisir Ditinjau Dari Pendekatan Antropologi Dan Budaya
This study aims to examine the dynamics of Islamic education in coastal areas through anthropological and cultural approaches. Coastal regions, as spaces of multicultural interaction, possess distinctive social and cultural characteristics that directly influence educational patterns, particularly Islamic education. The anthropological approach is used to understand how Islamic values are internalized within the plural life of coastal communities, while the cultural approach highlights the processes of adaptation and acculturation between Islamic teachings and local traditions. This research employs a library-based method focusing on literature analysis. The primary data consist of relevant literature on the phenomenon of empowering coastal communities through Islamic education, including books, articles, journals, and reports discussing the implementation of Islamic education within the social and cultural context of coastal regions. The findings indicate a synergy between Islamic teachings and local culture, creating a form of education that is contextual, inclusive, and rooted in community life. These results affirm the importance of an anthropological-cultural perspective in understanding and developing Islamic education models that are responsive to the social and cultural diversity of coastal communities.
