Efektivitas Metode Keteladanan dalam Pembelajaran Akidah Akhlaq di MA. Tarbiyatut Tholabah Lamongan Tahun 2024
The exemplary method is a very ideal pedagogical approach in learning aqidah and akhlak,
because it integrates moral and religious values through real practices that can be observed
and imitated by students, so that it can form better students' aqidah and akhlak. However, in
MA Tarbiyatut Thlabah there is student behavior that is less polite to teachers, peers and less
disciplined in carrying out worship, even though the teachers have provided examples in
learning and are even supported by the pesantren environment. This study aims to identify
the extent of the effectiveness of the exemplary method in learning aqidah and akhlaq at MA Tarbiyatut Tholabah. The research approach uses a qualitative approach with a case study
research type, the research subjects are the head of the Madrasah, teachers and students at
MA Tarbiyatut Tholabah, Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and
documentation, data validity using triangulation and data analysis using qualitative
descriptive. The results revealed that the teachers of aqidah and akhlak at MA Tarbiyatut
Tholabah showed consistency in providing examples of Islamic morals, discipline, neatness,
greetings, friendliness, and maintaining cleanliness. Despite obstacles, the exemplary method
has proven effective in learning aqidah and akhlak at MA Tarbiyatut Tholabah, especially in
shaping students' understanding and behavior in accordance with Islamic values
