MANUSCRIPT FORMAT

The articles contained in this jumal can be in the form of conceptual studies and/or research results in each discipline or interdisciplinary. In general, the systematics of the article consists of an introduction, methods, results and discussions, and conclusions/recommendations. In conceptual studies, the method part can be omitted if it is considered unnecessary.

 MANUSCRIPT WRITING GUIDELINES

  1. Scientific in nature, in the form of the study and development of Islamic Studies, original ideas, summaries of research/survey results, or other forms of writing that are considered to contribute to the development of Islamic Studies studies and thoughts;
  2. The manuscript sent is a manuscript that has never been published in any publication or is not being requested for publication by other media;
  3. The manuscript is written in English/Arabic by paying attention to the rules of good and correct language, if using Indonesian must be in accordance with the Indonesian Spelling General Writing (PUEBI) method;
  4. Foreign terms (non-Indonesian) must be italicized, for a guide to Arabic-Indonesian transliteration based on the ministerial decree of 1987, see here;
  5. The title must be concise, specific and effective, not exceeding 15 words that can explain the content clearly and precisely, written in capital letters arial font 14;
  6. The author is written without a title, the author's affiliated institution is accompanied by the city and country, and the email correspondence address (preferably the institution's email and/or integrated with Google Scholar), written in one space with the font book Antiqua 12;
  7. Abstract written in Indonesian and English. Abstract written between 100 to 200 words containing objectives, methods, findings, novelty, and contribution of research results, written in one space with Antiqua 12 font book;
  8. Keywords are more than 5 words that reflect the content of the manuscript, and can be words or phrases;
  9. The content of the manuscript consists of 6000 to 9000 words, A4 size paper with a flat margin of 2, written in one space with the font book Antiqua 12, for the subtitle written Capital bold, while the subtitle is written in small with Capital at the beginning of each word;
  10. The writing of the picture is placed under the middle with the number according to the order, while the table above adjusts the sequence number;
  11. The conclusion is the author's affirmation of the results of the research and discussion. Acknowledgments can be included in this sub;
  12. Writing citations and bibliographies follows the turabian/chicago style, for bibliography they are written in alphabetical order, details of writing see here;
  13. The manuscript must be typed in the form of Microsoft Word Format RTF (Rich Text Format) or Doc. (Word Document) sent to OJS Madinah.JSI;
  14. The Editor reserves the right to make edits or corrections for uniformity of the format, and writing style, without changing the substance;
  15. In addition to the quality of the manuscript that refers to one of the articles in Medina.JSI will be considered for acceptance;
  16. This journal does not wait for a specific edition for publication, but uses the Continuous Publishing System, Articles that have passed peer review and are declared accepted will be published immediately on the journal page according to the volume period and number
  17. Make sure the manuscript has been plagiarized by a maximum of 30%, if it is more, it will automatically be REJECTED.
  18. Each manuscript is categorized into several things: ACCEPTED WITHOUT REVISION, ACCEPTED WITH REVISION, or REJECTED;
  19. LOA will be sent, if the manuscript has been declared ACCEPTED and has paid the publication fee according to the conditions

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
