Correction, Withdrawal, and Retraction Policy

Correction, Withdrawal, and Retraction Policy

Madinah: Jurnal Studi Islam is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and quality of the scholarly record. The journal follows ethical publishing standards in handling corrections, withdrawals, and retractions of published articles when necessary.

Correction

Corrections may be issued when minor errors are identified in a published article that do not significantly affect the validity, reliability, or interpretation of the research findings. Corrections will be published promptly and linked to the original article to ensure transparency and accuracy of the scholarly record.

Withdrawal

Manuscripts may be withdrawn before publication upon request from the author(s) or editorial decision if serious ethical concerns, duplicate submissions, copyright issues, or other publication problems are identified during the editorial or peer-review process.

Retraction

Retraction may be issued for published articles in cases involving plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, unethical research practices, serious methodological errors, copyright infringement, or other forms of academic misconduct.

The retraction decision may be initiated by the authors, editors, reviewers, or publisher following a thorough investigation conducted by the editorial team. A retraction notice will be published and permanently linked to the retracted article to maintain transparency and the integrity of the academic record.

Expression of Concern

The journal may publish an Expression of Concern if there is evidence of potential research or publication misconduct that requires further investigation. The notice will remain associated with the article until a final editorial decision is reached.

Madinah: Jurnal Studi Islam reserves the right to take appropriate editorial action to preserve academic integrity and uphold responsible scholarly publishing practices.
