Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada politik sebagai gaya hidup dalam budaya kontemporer dan gelombang demokrasi liberal. Praktik politik sebagai gaya hidup ini mencerminkan revolusi globalisasi dari dunia maya dan budaya postmodern dalam landasan ideologis kapitalisme akhir. Praktik politik gaya hidup juga mendegradasi narasi besar politik dalam modernitas politik yang mengorientasikan tatanan politik dan prinsip-prinsip demokrasi rakyat dan mengubah narasi kecil politik dalam postmodernitas politik yang mengorientasikan kesadaran subjek secara absolut yang dikendalikan oleh hasrat dan insting. struktur kesadaran materialistis, hedonistik, konkumeristik dan konsumtivistik. Politik sebagai gaya hidup hadir dalam kehidupan sehari-hari baik di ranah publik maupun digital. Politik sebagai gaya hidup menggambarkan kontestasi, presentasi, pertunjukan dan simulasi yang akhirnya menjadi masyarakat dalam kondisi mayoritas diam. Politik sebagai gaya hidup harus direkonstruksi yang berorientasi pada makna sebagai manusia otentis secara rasional dan transendental.

This article focuses on politic as life-style in the contemporary culture and wave of liberal democracy. This political practice as life-style reflects globalization revolution from cyberspace and postmodern culture in the ideological foundation of late capitalism. The political practice of life-style also degrades political grand narrative in the political modernity which to orientates political order and the principles of peoples democracy and to changes political small narrative in the political postmodernity which to orientates absolutely subject consciousness whose controlled by desire and insting in the structure of materialistic, hedonistic, concumeristic dan consumtivistic consciousness. Politic as life-style presents in every day life both in public or digital spheres. Politic as life-style describes contestation, presentation, performance dan simulation that finally becomes peoples in the majority condition of silence. Politic as life-style has tobe reconstructed which to orientates in meaning as otentical human rationally and trancendentally.
