Analisis Strategi Pengembangan Bakat Siswa Melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Karate di MI Alam Ananda Mandiri Slawi

This study aims to analyze strategies for developing students’ talents through karate extracurricular activities at MI Alam Ananda Mandiri Slawi. The research positions itself by addressing a gap in previous studies that rarely explore specific strategies for talent development at the elementary Islamic school level. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that student talent development is effective when supported by structured planning, active roles of teachers and coaches, parental involvement, and continuous evaluation. Beyond physical skills, karate activities foster discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence among students. This research contributes conceptually by offering a collaborative strategy model that can be adapted by other schools to optimize talent development through martial arts-based extracurricular programs.
