Article Processing Charges
Al Furqan is open access, so readers pay nothing. To cover editorial management, similarity checking, copyediting, layout, DOI registration and preservation, the journal charges authors as follows:

- The APC is invoiced only after the manuscript has been accepted following peer review. Editorial decisions are made independently of payment ability.
- The fee does not depend on the number of pages or authors; there are no colour or page charges.
- Any change to the fee is announced in advance and does not apply to manuscripts already submitted.
Waivers
Authors from low-income countries, students without funding, and authors facing genuine financial hardship may request a full or partial waiver by writing to the editor when submitting. Requests are assessed confidentially and do not affect the review outcome.

Refunds
The APC is not refundable once the article has been published. If an accepted article is withdrawn by the journal before publication, the fee is refunded in full.
