About the Journal

Al Furqan: Jurnal Ilmu Al Qur’an dan Tafsir is a peer-reviewed academic journal published twice a year (June and December), focusing on scholarly studies of the Qur’an from various perspectives. Its scope includes exegesis and methodology, exegetical figures and traditions, thematic interpretation of contemporary issues, interdisciplinary integration, manuscript studies, spirituality and mental health, law and ethics, phenomenology, and digital exegesis. Managed by the Qur’anic Studies and Exegesis Study Programme, Faculty of Ushuluddin, Universitas Tarbiyatut Tholabah Lamongan, the journal is committed to enriching the understanding of the Qur’an in ways that remain relevant to modern developments.
