Author Guidelines

Please read the full Author Guidelines and use the Al Furqan article template (.docx). Manuscripts are written in English, 4,000–8,000 words, APA 7th edition, with a similarity index of no more than 20%.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The manuscript is original, has not been published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • It fits the journal’s Focus and Scope and is written in English using the Al Furqan article template (.docx).
  • The file is anonymised for double-blind review (no author names, affiliations or acknowledgements).
  • The similarity index is no more than 20%.
  • References follow APA 7th edition, number at least 30, and include DOIs where available.
  • Arabic terms follow the journal’s Transliteration Guide.
  • All authors, their affiliations and ORCID iDs are entered in the submission form, and all authors agree to the Publication Ethics and Generative AI Policy.
  • Authors understand that an Article Processing Charge applies only if the manuscript is accepted.
  • The corresponding author has entered an active WhatsApp number in their user profile (Edit Profile › Contact › Phone). This number is used only for editorial correspondence and is never published.

Articles

Original research and review articles on Qur’anic studies and tafsir, 4,000–8,000 words, written in English and prepared with the journal template. All articles in this section undergo double-blind peer review by at least two reviewers.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the CC BY-SA 4.0 licence.
